Thermal experimental and numerical heat transfer analysis of a solid cylinder in longitudinal direction

چکیده

The analysis of heat transfer in solid bodies with orthogonal geometries and knowledge thereof, is vast importance different fields engineering research. An important field study the thermal machine-parts that most cases are designed shaped geometries. Nevertheless, due to high complexity cost experiments represent, FEM numerical solutions used foresee on these components. These methodologies certainly reliable, although may vary from real experiments. On account, this paper presents a experimental test cylinder length , made ISO C45 steel emulates machine-part (cylindrical parts as shafts, fasteners like). temperature along longitudinal direction were analyzed steady transient state under homogeneous boundary conditions first kind (prescribed temperatures at boundaries). three solutions, experimental, simulations compared purpose validating results obtained by each method solution respectively.
